Position Summary:
We are looking for a qualified and skilled Cook to prepare and present high-quality dishes in accordance with our menu. The ideal candidate will have experience in busy kitchen operations and be able to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of food hygiene and presentation.
Locations:
We have opportunities available in Queensland in Cairns and Brisbane as well as opportunities in NSW at Newcastle and Byron Bay

Task & Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to standard recipes and quality expectations
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen and work areas in line with food safety regulations
- Monitor stock levels and notify management of shortages
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety procedures
- Assist in menu planning, portion control, and cost management
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team and assist in training junior staff
Qualification & Experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Cook in a commercial kitchen
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent (highly regarded)
- Understanding of food safety standards and HACCP procedures
- Strong time management skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player
