We are currently looking for experienced Broadcast Engineers with exceptional drive, strong work ethics, excellent interpersonal skills, and brilliant technical minds to join our Australian teams in both Field operations and our centralized HUBs.

Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Manage and monitor mobile unit broadcast engineering operations at remote events.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting while executing changes and engineering updates on the mobile unit.
  • Conduct regular cleaning and inventory checks for the mobile unit.
  • Track and report on equipment and system repair and maintenance status.
  • Direct the activities of crew members related to the operation of the mobile unit.
  • Follow through on repairs, inventory needs, and updates.
  • Provide on-site client service and technical support.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Essential: Minimum of 2 years’ experience operating a Broadcast Truck solo.
  • A strong understanding of outside broadcast workflows.
  • Ability to work effectively under time constraints.
  • Well-organized with the ability to prioritize work based on on-air importance.
  • A positive attitude, ability to meet explicit deadlines, capacity to learn new concepts rapidly, and work closely with colleagues for extended periods.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • Understanding of SMPTE 2110.
  • VSM or TFC knowledge.
  • Experience with IP Technology is preferred.
