We are a busy, family-owned and operated childcare centre in the heart of Margaret River, dedicated to providing a high level of care. Reporting to: Centre Director
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be an integral part of our team, contributing to a positive and stimulating learning environment for children. You must be able to communicate effectively in English (both verbally and written).

Key Responsibilities:
- Actively contribute to the centre’s curriculum.
- Implement age-appropriate experiences that foster children’s learning and development.
- Engage with children during play.
- Support children to reach their potential through play-based and interest-focused experiences.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Maintain safe, harmonious environments that foster a sense of belonging.
- Build and maintain trusting, respectful relationships with children, families, and the community.
- Comply with National Quality Standards and The Children’s Centre of Margaret River’s policies and procedures.
- Support a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement.
- Select and use relevant teaching strategies to develop knowledge, skills, problem-solving, and critical and creative thinking.
Skills and Requirements:
- Motivated and enthusiastic educator who seeks personal growth.
- Previous experience in the childcare industry is preferred. However, we welcome applications from those looking for a career change and interested in learning more about child development.
- Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) or a willingness to learn.
- Qualifications:
- Hold or be working towards an ACECQA-approved Certificate III or Diploma qualification.
- Current Working with Children’s Check.
- Current Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR, and First Aid Certificates (or willingness to obtain).
- Current Child Protection Training (or willingness to obtain).
- Eligibility: Only candidates with permanent residency, citizenship, or the correct visa requirements for sponsorship need apply.
