Role Description:
We are seeking a skilled and qualified Glazier with significant experience in both fabrication and installation. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with a variety of balustrade systems, including:
- Glass and extruded aluminium systems
- Glass and custom-fabricated stainless steel systems
- Glass-only balustrades
This position requires a blend of workshop-based assembly/fabrication and onsite installation tasks, with the specific mix varying based on business demands. Assembly and installation experience are essential components of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Using powered saws/drills to accurately cut and prepare frames for glazing.
- Assembling glass components to aluminium frames using gaskets.
- Glazing windows with aluminium extrusions.
- Installing assembled products, including glass balustrades, often requiring the ability to work independently onsite.
- Contributing to maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe workplace.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a qualified Glazier.
- Demonstrated experience glazing windows with aluminium extrusions.
- Proven experience assembling glass to aluminium frames and gaskets.
- Proficiency with powered saws, drills, and related fabrication tools.
- Capability of working alone installing assembled glass balustrades onsite.
- Experience installing glass balustrades is preferred.
